I hated her after she killed the dog.

I don't care how pissed off Nichol's character was, she had no right killing the dog. Even if the dog had Bentley as an owner, the dog just acted on instinct. Bitch.

I kind of felt the same way ... I knew it was inevitable from the beginning that something would happen to the dog, but I still hated it. That being said, I am a huge animal lover but I might have done something similar in that situation, for survival. Still didn't mean we had to see it, though. That scene was far too long and gruesome - it could have been accomplished differently.

Those who are saying that she had no choice, self-defense - that is a fair, rational perspective. However, all the people saying *beep* PETA, who cares - you are what is wrong with the world, and you are the reason I am much more affected by animal deaths than people deaths in film. Animals are not cruel and evil - most of the time they are innocent victims, and if they act viciously it is because they are trained that way. They have more loyalty and compassion than most people. They suffer just as much as people do. So tell me why people deserve more? People like you are sickening.

The dog bit her and could have killed her. What was she supposed to do, let it wrap its jaws around her neck lol?

reply

You mean cugo? How would you have handled it? Hmmmmn.

reply

Yeah I agree. She should have let the dog maul her to death, instead of killing the poor defenseless pup.

You represent everything that's wrong with human kind, you think that a dog is more valuable than a human living. You are sick and wrong, the dog was a threat, IT was going to kill her. I'm glad the dog died.

Well either you are a troll or that unusual person who likes the idea of their throat torn out by a vicious dog.
