Is this a straight-to-DVD flick?
Although the camerawork is OK, the sets and costumes make this look like a Kevin Sorbo knock off.

What did the producers blow the $70,000,000 on, big swords?
It was in the theaters. I watched it. Big Fan of the old ones and Bob Sapp.
shareSome scenes go look cheap but they seem to have spend the money on huge environment you see, large vistas. A lot of matte work is actually pretty good (and LOTR inspired).
But surprisingly, some scenes where characters are walking through forest, look weirdly low quality (and I don't think those were CG scenes).
