Cursing around teachers?

They do the exact same thing in the US.

I'm from the USA and my teachers did it all the time, mainly in High School. When I was in 9th grade, I witnessed my Journalism teacher tell one of my classmates to "Get the *beep* out" and "sh*t" was thrown around a lot too.

It might not be considered appropriate, but to me, cursing really isn't that taboo either. I'm sure most kids around their late teens don't care, either

Don't forget, these aren't high school teachers they're college teachers. College is totally different to high school. I used to swear around my college teachers all the time and they swore around us. In fact we used to go out drinking with our teachers after shows (I was on a drama course) all the time.

At high school it's a bit different. If you had a strict teacher then you'd never think to swear but my form tutor and my media studies teacher were both really cool, we used to swear in class all the time. In form and PSHE (personal social health education aka do *beep* all for an hour) we could get away with murder.
