Huh? You're talking about Cook. He didn't die. FREDDIE did die though.

I just watched that episode. I never really liked him until a couple episodes prior when he starts helping Effy and we see him comparing her depression with his mothers and the deep conflict there, but his death was just awful. I had been spoiled that he was going to die at some point, but still his death shocked me (this coming from someone who loves horror/gore films). Just goes to show what Skins does to you. Makes you get attached to these characters without even realizing it.

He's now living in 17th century France, calling himself D'artagnan and hanging out with some of the kings Musketeers.

My, how he's grown.

I've just finished generation 2 and Freddie's death was a bit OTT. As someone in her 30's who's seen a lot of her favourite characters 'die' over the years - including both Owen and Ianto in Torchwood - his death was one of the most shocking I've come across and seemed to be there for shock value and little else. The last episode was strange too with Effy, JJ, Karen and Freddie's father not learning what happened to him, though in Freddie's fathers case that might have been a good thing - he'd already lost his wife to mental illness, losing his son to murder too was a bit much. JJ seemed to show no concern what-so-ever.

No one actually knew Freddie was dead, though, for all they knew, he might have just skipped town, however out of character it might be.

It was ridiculous and definitely OTT.

And Foster is The Musketeers' leader!
