Older sister - Misato
Older brother - Kaji
Friends - The two classmates
Father - Gendo
Mother - Yui
Humanity - Magi/Seele/other installations
Id - Rei
Ego - Shinji
Superego - Asuka
Enlightenment - Nagisa

Does it say at anytime there only be [a] pilot? How many pilots could fit in an eva unit? Surely three can fit.

If I were to somehow fit all the main characters of this series into the nerv unit of unit 01, do you think the evangelion would transform into God? I know this is a bit abstract here but what do you think?

Shinji is god.

We are all gods.

Read up on kabbalistic/gnostic/occult philosophies and pretty much what you end up with is I = GOD, at least that is the ideal.

With regards to Shinji's Unit there can be only one pilot. The Eva eventually refuses any other control after the Dummy Plug incident.

I believe the stronger the connection to your Eva the greater connection there is to God.
