This movie (as much as the 1st) deserves a worldwide teathrical release! It's absolutely awesome, stunning and above anything Eva ever done before!

I will say it's my second favorite Evangelion film ever. It can't hold a candle to END OF EVANGELION in my opinion though.

You're right, End of Evangelion is a much better film, but to me Evangelion 2 did everything but run over it. Evangelion 2 is a very strong, very awesome, very excellent movie and one of the best movies of 2009.
