I really liked the first two but his one may have set the series too far off course. 14 years in the future, pilots don't age, misato is a pirate captain, who knows what side anyone is on at any given time, humanity is nearly extinct but new ships and glasses for gendo are being made. It just didnt do it for me. I'm still looking forward to the last movie, though more out of closure and curiosity than excitement.

I personally loved this movie, I seeing it sort of as the stepping stone for the final film. Once 4.0 comes out I think Q will be seen in a far better light.
