I agree, a principal in his own international tax law firm, Doug would have a lot more self-confidence than he presented as having in this movie. I get that Gretchen was supposed to be a bit emasculating...but what guy, on the planet earth, with even a faint memory of what his balls might have looked like before his fiancée took them and stored them in a jar in her office, would let the song for their first dance as husband and wife be the one his fiancée remembers as playing during and associates with a spirited bout of supposedly marathon sex she had with her previous boyfriend?

I personally don't get the appeal of Kaley Cuoco at all. Her acting or her off-screen personality. In fact, was way more attracted to Olivia Thirlby in this movie.

And you really think owning a law firm would impress hot women eh? He was a loner and a nerd, he wasn't a chick-magnet like Hasselhoff either. She's more than he could ever ask for...and it was all going well until he blew it. For what..? so he could have his first man trip. Was it really worth it? It didnt matter if he loved her or not, they could have worked things out after marriage, ya know it even works that way if not for love.
