Saw an Advanced Screening Tonight!

It was horrible! No wonder the studio is dumping this in January. I honestly have no idea why they are doing so many free screenings of this movie! I went with several friends and even all of them hated it! I normally love raunchy comedies, but these are the kind I can't stand. The writers tried way too hard to be raunchy and went for cheap laughs. It doesn't help either that both characters are unlikeable. Kevin Hart was incredibly annoying and Josh Gad was too pitiful and dumb to even be sympathetic towards. Some people at the screening were eating up, but quite a few walked out as well. Please don't waste your money on this!

That's too bad. It didn't look very good but I thought it might be a decent rental when it comes out on Blu-ray. Apparently not. It's actually rather hard to find a good R-rated comedy these days--look at crap like Sex Tape, Let's Be Cops, Tammy, and worst of all A Haunted House 2 this year so far! I didn't care for Neighbors either, but it's nowhere near as bad as stuff like Sex Tape and Let's Be Cops.

January is the dumping ground for movies. That's why most of the movies I see in theaters in January are awards contender type movies that expand wide. This year I'm seeing Inherent Vice and American Sniper in January when they expand wide (unless one of them comes to the DC area a little earlier.) I also really want to see Blackhat--the January release date is a bit troubling, but the trailer looks good and I love a good Michael Mann thriller.

I saw it as well. It is funny, or at least I thought so. My wife was with me, and she enjoyed it as well, with one exception. She and I both agreed that the language in the movie was way over the top. Girls, young guys, old guys, all swearing and all the time. It added nothing to the humor - made none of the jokes funnier.

If you don't let that get in the way, then yes, it is funny.

The original poster is a punk ass little racist bitch, who HATES anything Kevin Hart does. The film is going to be a HIT and the January release date is similar to Ride Along from last year.

You said the same thing last year about Jack Ryan and look what Happened?

He think hes bad with class! Im gonna rock this shotgun up his *beep* ass!

American Sniper has more going for it though. It has Oscar Buzz, Bradley Cooper is a big drawl, it's directed by the legendary Clint Eastwood, it's getting positive reviews, and the trailers are fantastic.

Jack Ryan didn't have all those merits. Keep in mind it also made $610,000 in just 4 theaters this past weekend which transfers to an excellent per-theater average. It's going to be #1.

Your little rant means nothing. You and many other white people have counted out Kevin Hart time and time again and he always makes you HIS BITCH when it comes to the box office. Mark Wahlberg is a bigger drawer than Cooper and Lone Survivor lost the number one spot to a Kevin Hart last year.

I'm about to donate some money to the remove my foot from your ass foundation!

Lone Survivor opened a week before Ride Along did. Get your facts right.

Look bitch boy, my facts are right . Lone Surivior should had the #1 spot a few weeks but it didn't, Ride Along did. Take Cooper's cock out of your ass and stop hating on Kevin Hart.

I don't win a lot.

I wasn't going to see it because I really dislike Kevin Hart. I think Josh is great! But thanks for your input!
