I got to see this movie at an advanced screening in Phoenix. Let me just say that I completely understand what you mean, but, without spoiling the movie for you, it makes sense when you see the film. This is by far one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long long time. I feel this is funnier than the Hangover films. It can be a little raunchy at parts but it is indeed funny on so many levels and layers of comedy as well. If you like comedy do yourself a favor and go see this movie.
