did Dr.Sheldon give Penny a brian transplant ? i missed that episode

Havn't seen the show in years. Did at some point Dr.Sheldon (Shelley) give Penny a brain transplant, like there's no Frankenstein scars on her head. Just seen a recent episode.

Penny-old: Dumb-ish, Science illiterate, street smarts, cool with being slut-ish, happy.

Penny-new: smart, librarian-like, art of medical finesse, grumpy auld nag, unhappy.

Would have been a great episode, Shelley preping for the transplant;
Leonard saying 'Sheldon, you can't transplate her brain'
Sheldon persuasing him 'we only have to tranplant some of her brain'
Leonard 'Yeah sure ok, can't make her any dumber'

Nah, Leonard just made her a grumpy unhappy nag with his constant crying and complaining and being bad at sex.

Penny has grown as a character over the last 11 years and has become more knowledgeable, which happens to pretty much everyone over a decade's worth of time.
