Euron just took out 2 out of three major enemies of Cercei

And considerably weakened Daenerys.

No more navy and no Dorne (who the fuck is in charge down there anyway?)

reply

I have no idea who will rule Dorne now because Ellaria and the Sand Snakes killed the prince and his heir. Dany/Varys and Olenna made their deal with Ellaria so there is no reason to believe Dorne would still be on their side.

reply

Yeah without a leader, Dorne is fracked. Not sure what's going to happen. Yara was an idiot for not having lookouts though.

reply

It is good for the show that she has taken a significant hit because up to now she has mostly had her own way & things need to be more balanced so she doesn't just win everything with ease + in the next series after all the shit happening with Cersei all groups should be weaker to force people to unite to battle the white walkers.

Dorne story makes no sense. They are supposed to be driven by family loyalty but they killed off their own family. The dorne women seem extremely emotional and constantly hypocritical at the same time. The most annoying personality traits one can imagine. I was so happy for euron last night. Thank god for euron greyjoy. Those noisy hypocritical bitches finally got what they deserved

reply

Maybe Euron should be king of the Iron Islands as he certainly is tougher and cannier than Yara and those gals from Dorne. I don't think there's anyone in charge in Dorne now, they all up and left for Westeros, without clearly leaving anyone in charge. This is why rulers have generals and admirals - so they don't have to go to places personally. A lesson Jon Snow is going to have to learn....

Euron destroyed only Greyjoy part of Dany's navy, right? She should still have all those ships that carried Dothraki and unsullied from Essos to Dragonstone. Greyjoy ships were a bonus to Dany but not essential for her plans.

reply

Yeah but the Greyjoys were the "navy" I doubt the dothraki or unsullied know how to sail/raid.

reply

True. Dany can still transport her troops on those remaining ships, but no more navy battles for her in the foreseeable future. This is a moment where dragons will come handy to burn enemy ships that would lay siege around Dragonstone, otherwise she might find herself and her troops stranded on the island.
