Who else cheered and smiled when Jon snow didn't kneel

He shouldn't kneel to her

reply

No he shouldn't...and I'm glad he didn't. And I think Dany even respected that.

Unlike a number of people I really like Daenerys. I want her and Jon Snow to end up together flying the dragons and burning the White Walkers.

But of course he wouldn't kneel. Too proud and too stubborn, Jon Snow.

Daenerys is taking a beating. She lost her navy already and the Unsullied are in trouble. Of course it was to be expected, it would have been no fun and anticlimactic for her to just land on Westeros and sweep the whole place.

I'm with you, I don't agree with the hate for Daenerys. And the way things are going for her shows that, contrary to what the anti-Daenerys crowd says, she really doesn't have her victories just handed to her. In fact she's having quite a difficult time, and always has.

When I saw Euron's fleet wiping out Grey Worm's ships, and it was mentioned that most of the Lannister army wasn't even at Casterly Rock, I started to wonder whether Daenerys is even going to win at all. That giant crossbow that Qyburn had built looks pretty menacing too.

reply

Maybe she will lose one dragon but the other two must survive if the humans want to beat the White Walkers.

Remember, a song of ice... and fire.

He should have also pointed out the Targs only ruled for 300 years. The Starks were Kings for thousands of years prior.

But I'm surprised that he even cares about kneeling and suspect he may not really. It's probably more the case that the Northern lords don't want it to happen.

Jon is at such a disadvantage because no one, not even the Northerners, really seem to understand the magnitude of the threat from the Night King.
