To everyone saying how dumb Americans are

I was just reading some topics on this subject on this board and others and it's funny how so many people bash American's for being dumb. While I admit there are a lot of dumb people in this country and that it seems like there are a lot of dumb people here, I would like to point out the population differences between the US and other countries in the world. As of right now, the US is the 3rd most populated country in the world. The reason the US seems more dumb then other countries is simple, it's because we have more dumb people do to our high population. I have a feeling if you could actually test how intelligent everyone was in the world, that the percentage of dumb people as compared to the overall population would be relatively similar across all modern industrialized countries.

Well dumb people do tend to get featured more and give the rest of you a bad name. What is true though is the general lack of knowledge about other parts of the world in general, even among smart well educated people. (It is fascinating, for example, how poorly people do on Jeopardy when asked simple geographical questions about Canada, for example.)

So while the stereotype is exaggerated and often portrayed mean spiritedly by the rest of the world it is not entirely unfounded.

People in the rest of the world don't know anything about the general population of America, most of them have only seen our idiot politicians.

You wrote "many people bash American's" That would be "Americans".
Do you not understand what an apostrophe is used for? It is for possession not for plurals.

And you wrote "...more dumb people DO to..." That would be "DUE".
