Will this beat THE AVENGERS at the Box Office??
shareNot a chance, In my opinion. I do think it will break 1 billion though, probably because it will make a ton overseas. It will still be profitable.

It's possible
shareit isnt...tomb raider effect will hit justice league like a rock
shareWell that's not a fact
shareFact is this
Dawn of justice was suppose to make a billion and 200 million dollars vanished...suicide squad only became a success because of the bohemian rhapsody trailer which was insanely popular
Dc has runned on novelty alone...and once that dries up we will see massive drops
I think JL can beat Avengers in terms of box office if studio do justice with Zack Snyder , remember that rumour that Zack doesn't want BvS to be a one part film his vision was for 2 parts and if it would've been a 2 parter film it would've been much much better... WB please don't suck this time.
shareThe 2012 MCU film? Nah.
Or the 1998 Ralph Fiennes/Uma Thurman film? Nah.
I hope we one day see Avatar get beat at the box office.
Metallica, Iron Maiden and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic fan.
I think, JL will get the same Box Office, as BvS. Or maybe a little bit higher.
shareIf, IF, JL is a particularly good movie and gets some good word of mouth and reviews then it CAN potentially beat Avengers. There is no ceiling. Just when you think there is something else will come along and shatter it.
The real problem is Star Wars 8 coming out I think two or three weeks later.
Plus, will audiences be "super hero movie'd out' buy that time in the year what with four or five other super hero movies having already come out?
Star wars is arriving on the heels of better foundations (on a storytelling front and a brand front). Rian johnson is also a filmmaker that is now the new king of nerd world...unlike snyder who is literally Satan
sharePeople have been saying audiences will be "super hero movie'd out" for the past 6 years. Heck, even before the MCU, with the Rami Spider-Man movies, the X-Men movies and Nolan's Batman coming out in the same decade as the Marvel one shots like Ghost Rider and The Punisher, a lot of people predicted the audience would have "superhero fatigue", but it hasn't happened yet.
shareI agree and disagree
People are not so sick of superhero films as much are they sick of bad ones...look at the box office drop of dawn of justice and x men apocalypse compared to civil war and deadpool. Simply put people will not take Zack snyder crap anymore...justice league has no good foundations on a brand or financial front
