Just saw it here in Australia, Movie is really bad folks

Went in with low expectations after SvB and was still extremely disappointed.

The movie has so many issues, the editing is all over the place, CGI looks unfinished, lots of the dialogue doesn’t even make sense, horrible soundtrack, and what’s with the locations? Every damn scene they are either in batcAve or in some sort of ruined warehouse or some kind of ruined industrial area the movie is always happening in such areas. The colour palette on every scene is black and red nothing else.

The villian sucked and was an extension of WW’s villain. And that relic was directly ripped off transformers everyone saw that!

Don’t get me started on how much under utilized Batman was, fight scenes were a mess sure we had the signature grunting while fighting but the fights were nothing like the epic fights we had on man of steel and dark night.

I am not surprised at all WB banned early screenings and press reviews, Jess Whedon also was ashamed of this movie.

I can’t tell you folks how bad this movie is, they made us wait YEARS for this? Zack Snyder I loved him in the past but he needs to go and focus on his family

There is no way in hell this was a synder movie. This was 100% whedon.

Hopefully there’s a synder cut at some point with the junkie xl soundtrack and not the horrid Danny elfman crapfest.

No it isn’t. I know that’s what was said but it’s not true, whedon cut and edited snyders work so much it’s unrecognisable that he ever even shot any of the scenes.

Carrier of the truth? No but I have eyes. I can see what’s right in front of me, and whedon doing 15-20% reshoots and nothing else is bullshit. He fired junkie xl and hired Danny elfman to completely restore the movie. Does that sound like just a reshoot to you?

Yep, let’s ignore the fact that Snyder has made nothing but terrible DC movies, the worst one being the reviled Batman VS. Superman. That’s right, this movie’s failure is all Joss Whedon’s fault (who by the looks of it probably regrets being involved in this).

Funny though, many reviews, the good and mostly the bad, have agreed that the humor (obviously Whedon’s work) was a relief since it stopped this movie from being completely devoid of any fun. But it still felt out of place because this movie was clearly Snyder’s vision.

Then you obviously have no clue what you’re watching. Look at the finished product of any of his other movies and then look at this. It’s whedon 100. The forced cringeworthy humour, the horrific colour palette, and the dog shit soundtrack are all text book whedon.

This was movie by numbers material. Say what you want about synder but at least he tried something a little different. This is just trash.

Its unquestionably a Snyder movie, it was essentially done when Whedon was brought in to fix it. It was far to late for him to fix it so they really wasted time and money on that.

I have to see it to know Snyder filmed the movie? This is a fact. A second director arriving so late can only do so much. I am not saying Whedon didn't have some effect on the film. Snyder is primarily responsible for much of what you saw with Whedon trying to fix it and probably failing to do so. I am not trying to make Whedon the good guy here, I am saying don't pretend that Snyder isn't responsible for some of the results of this film because he is.

Have you seen it yet? You can’t watch this movie and think it’s a zach synder film. There’s just no way. There’s no “whedon tried to save it”, he made it his own film.

David Lynch could have been the original director and you’d never know it. Synder might have filmed most of it or even all of it, but it’s been cut in such a way that it doesn’t resemble a synder film at all. The score was changed, the colour palette was changed, scenes reshot. There’s almost no scenes with superman where he doesn’t have a cgi face.

Watch any synder film and then watch this and tell me you see synder anywhere in this film.

No yet, I go rarely to theaters and a film like this isn’t going to bring me out to overpay for a film. The only way this could be 100% Whedon film is if he threw out everything and reshot it. I suppose my opinion could change somewhat once I see it but judging by reviews that point out indications of two different creative directions in scenes of the film. I am going to lean against 100 % Whedon for a film that had to use alot of what was already filmed

Trust me, when you see it you’ll think the same. Synder May have shot scenes but you’d have a hard time guessing which ones. The way it’s been cut, the score, the change in colour palette, it’s unrecognisable as a synder film. I have no doubt he shot a lot of what’s in the final film, but the post production has obscured his usual visual style.

It’s there from the very first scene. The tone is unmistakable as being a whedon movie. It’s very much like a marvel movie wannabe than anything else.

Yeah they do, I live in a city and have experienced it quite a few times, Saving Private Ryan, Backdraft, Hacksaw Ridge, original Star Wars trilogy, first two Superman films, Batman 89 etc.

I was a theatre last night, not one screen was filled. The screen I was in had a total of three people. Midnight show, but still. Pretty dead.

Anyone notice how most scenes are just red and black colour and mostly shot on industrial wastelands with poor cgi and low quality fake looking set pieces. Real shame we waited years for this, Zack doesn’t care at this stage because of his daughter, he pretty much said his movie can go to hell (which it will)

I enjoyed it, the villain sucked...But so do 90% of Marvel villains!

The music was awful but Flash was great, and it was good to see Superman back alongside Batman and Wonder Woman.

I’d of preferred it if they added Joker and Harley Quinn meeting Lex at the end but that’s no big deal.
