Just came back from seeing Thor Ragnarok

Wow that was a pretty good movie and funny. CGI, dialogue, pacing, and overall mood was good. It wasn't rushed and very smooth transition between scenes. Also I believe it was around 2 hours and 30 mins. Geez I don't understand how justice league could b so bad. Even sadder I enjoyed this movie more than wonder woman and wonder woman is the only dceu movie that I liked the most. Did anyone else see Thor ragnarok and ur thoughts on it?

It was pretty ok. Lots of funny moments. But overall it was a very fun movie to watch.

The inclusion of that Korg character was hilarious. Hulk vs Thor in the Arena was great specially because of the "hey big guy... sun is gettin' real low" moment.

Hella had some pretty dope moments, but could be better. Some of the trailer footage was missing from the actual movie, and I liked those Hella moments in the trailer a lot. Not my favorite villain [still prefer Zemo] but an interesting addition. Didn't care for Scourge at all, though I kind of understood the need for him to be there.

Odin passing away felt it missed something more grandiose to it. He kind of died like a bum for such a strong and important character.

Hulk was great. Glad they took the talking brute route like in the comics.

i loved it. i would have like a longer appearange of dr strange, but i loved hela and scourge. the latter might only be, because i already loved that actor's work in the riddick films. i found it just to be unfortunate, that they did so little with his character. as for hella, i have a slight criticism that she could have been a bit more multi layered.

hahaha, that's true.

for me the film could have been even longer and along the way fixed your and mine criticism.

Riddick movies. Loved the Pitch Dark one. The Second could be better [kind of reminds Conan the Barbarian meets Alien 3 for some odd reason] and the third one was kind of ok... I dunno, I think the character could be a lot more stoic and less caring. He always ends up caring for those he seems to hate [and that reminds me of that grumpy dude from the Minions].

i loved them all and i don't agree to the criticism people had about the third one at all.

to me the riddick character is pretty awesome. he is a perfect warrior and for the most part he wants to be left alone. i disagree about the last part. it is not that he is a bad guy, nor do i think he even knows "hate" because it would require more emotions than he is allowing himself to feel. the very few people he ended up defending were either useful to him, if not required for him to survive for different reasons and/or proven themselves to be either worthy of his companionship or truly innocent.

i just watched it yesterday and i agree wholeheartedly. nevertheless i am about to watch justice league tonight and i am still hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

comicwise i never like hulk or thor, but liked the films a lot. on the other end of the spectrum, when it comes to DC i never liked superman, flash and have never had interest in checking out wonderwoman, cyborg or aquaman but liked many film and tv incarnations of superman. i am very curious how this will play out.

personally i was rather into the lesser known characters and the indie stuff (SLG, top cow, deadline, image ...ect). the only mainstream series that i really ever dug was x-men and all of their spinoffs.
