I still miss Asuma sensei..

Anybody knows why they killed him off specifically? Nothing good came from his passing I think. It just sucked big time. I know it has been years, but it still pains me a bit.

I think Asuma's death had meaning, and that eventually good came from it, although it still pains me a little that Jiraiya died.

Sorry man, i didn't like that guy as much as you did, thank god he died but killing itachi made me sad.

Thank God they killed itachi . I was so happy to see him die I went to pub and bought a round of drinks for everyone to celebrate

oh did i hurt your feelings? I didn't know you are that sensitive. I think you had a crush on Azuma sensei. just joking. come on man! azuma is the weakest of all masters (except for his girlfriend) I think he had no part in the story line and he was supposed to die. But you compare Itachi and Azuma, itachi was more important to the story. He is one of the main character of the show. I won't say that itachi death was meaningless but i can't say the same things about azuma's death.

For me the death of Asuma arc was the best of the series. The whole series matured right there. Asuma dying with his girlfriend expecting their child. Naruto training the wind shuriken thing, Shikamaru taking revenge. The two baddies, Hidan and Kakuza didn’t take shit and the reality of death was real for all the characters here.

Good drama throughout and Though I liked the Pain and Jiraya death arcs as well this one was just a bit more special.
