Karate Kid Remake

Incase you did not know, they are doing a remake of The Karate Kid, calling it Kung Fu Kid, don't know why it needs to be remade (except to make money) but that discussion is for another thread.

Wouldn't it be great if instead of making Kung Fu kid with Jackie Chan and Will Smith's kid, that instead they made a sort of sequel to Red Belt / Karate Kid remake together, maybe Red Belt Kid, haha, maybe call it something else. But yeah, get Chiwetel Ejiofor to reprise his role as Mike Terry and have him train some punk. I think it would be awesome. I really don't want to see Will smith's kid handed a classic role like this, don't really like the idea of Jackie Chan in it either since he seems like a bit of a comedian / clown to me.
