I know now that the lesbian couple were married, with a child, so it is rather more significant than just a kiss. The child was right there in the shot, I guess I didn't realise.

Looks like that's exactly what they did, no? Seeing as the movie hasn't even made back it's $200,000,000 budget yet, I'd say they chose the option to not go and watch. 🤷‍♀️😆
