Feels like a Hallmark movie

It's like something you would see on tv on a sunday afternoon. Not a fucking best picture winner.

i watched about five minutes of it and thought the same thing. it' a very "small" movie.

I don’t mind ‘little’ movies winning awards. I just don’t think that this one of very good. Winning the screenplay prize for such a collection of cliches was particularly ridiculous - while watching it, I could more or less predict what was going to happen at any given point.

This was an absolutely wonderful film. Best of the year by far. Yes, a fucking best picture winner. Yes, indeed.

The world would be a much nicer place if we had more small Hallmark movies like this. Great film. Definitely worthy, with very good performances all around!

I hope and pray I'll never get cynical to the point where a film like this one doesn't move me.

The older I get, the more I appreciate such films.
As you said deserve best picture winner.
Hallmark at his best.
