The Oscars are scripted by the WWE now?
I get most of my pop culture from Twitter. Twitter is flooded with still shots from the video at the moment just after the slap when Will Smith was walking off. He has a smirk/smile on his face and Chris Rock has a big grin.
The video also shows that Will barely connected with the slap, just his fingers on Chris's chin. This is in no way serious.
People then jump in about "did you see the uncensored audio!? Will Smith was pissed!!" Um, he's an actor. He just won the BEST ACTOR award for crying out loud. Of course he looked like he was really pissed.
