When she found it, I thought for sure they were setting up a cat and mouse confrontation between her and the Invisible Man, in which they would not be able to see each other and would have to come up with creative ways to find (or avoid) the other one, without giving away their own position.

I suppose you are right, but maybe they could have kind of zoomed in on her face like they do with Tony Stark and Iron Man and then shown her first person perspective?

Yes I thought exactly the same. That would’ve made for a pretty cool scene.

She can’t compete with him on his level, and she’s too afraid of him. It made more sense for her to just kill him when he had his guard down.
