Great movie, except for one thing
The main character donned the invisibility suit momentarily and made the abusive inventor husband slit his own throat, so she's committed murder! True, the inventor did slit her sister's throat and let her take the fall for it, and the inventor's brother did try to kill the little black girl, and above all, the inventor husband did abuse her for many years and get her pregnant, but did she deserve to get away scot-free? It's a bit of a grey area, and I suspect the black girl's cop father will be uncertain about that, but, well, there ya go.
