Abominable editing

No reflection on the writing, acting or direction, but whoever cut this (especially episode 1x03 which I've just seen) must have been the work experience kid. Such unprofessional edits are not normally seen outside of first semester in film school.

Apart from this huge distraction though (I honestly had to pause and replay each one, as I kept thinking "geez, surely not another bum cut!?") I'm enjoying it. Not as exciting as other Mike Flanagan work, but I feel it's building to something big. A slow burn.

Edit: it turns out the editing is courtesy of none other than Mike Flanagan himself! I can only say that for an editor, he's a bloody good director.
