I don't get the hype.

The way people were talking about this, I expected something I haven't seen before. I didn't even find it scary or give me a good sense of tension. 6/10

I had the same experience you did. Decent movie, but nothing special. I also gave it a 6/10. Disappointing after all the hype.

I don't get how people were saying it's so original. They just substituted the possession that any horror movie has done with a hand. That's it. This felt no different than a Blumhouse movie.

100%. What the hell. This had potential, but it was ruined by annoying music and characters, and an unsatisfying story.

It was unpredictable at times, but not scary. The monsters looked straight out of a Sam Raimi film without the humor.

I can't believe how unoriginal it was. Adding a hand doesn't give it a new concept. The hype surrounding it is baffling.

Me neither. I was waiting for some major action but it never really picked up the pace. 3/10.
