During the totally pointless scene where Zeus strips Thor naked, I was thinking what if Zeus had stripped Jane or Valkyrie naked?
The rabid social warriors would have had a brain hemorrhage. They’d have grabbed pitch forks and torches and demanded Waititi be burned at the stake for demeaning women everywhere.
So why was it okay to do that with a guy? Oh, that’s right. Because rabid social warriors are hypocrites.
When you think about it maybe that wouldn't have been worthwhile had a disrobing happened. With Thor it's obvious and somewhat redundant that he is built like a house but can't say the same about Jane or Valkyrie - not the statuesque types in my view.
