They should really surprise audiences by having this film be a sequel to Halloween III: Season of the Witch since this one will be the 3rd in the new series of Halloween films. Maybe they could reveal that all the Halloween films after Halloween III were just movies made by Silver Shamrock as part of their goal to bring about Samhain, which would forgive the failings of the last several films featuring Myers and at the same time elevate Halloween III as being more brilliant as it would retroactively foreshadow the events of the film and give audiences a reason to go back through the Myers Halloween films for clues as to the goals of Silver Shamrock.

Very interesting, I'm not caught up with this new trilogy but I love Season of the Witch..

Me too! The older I get the more it is starting to become my favorite film of the series.

I agree that the older I get the more I love H3, but I would honestly prefer that they leave it alone and continue with MM... at least until Halloween Ends!
