I had low expectations but tried to give it a fair chance but man what a mess, the good: Kamala is very likable and some of the funny moments are indeed very fun. The bad is almost everything else. This movie was ruined in the editing room since the pacing is all over the place and that main villain? I mean wtf was that?
Anyway this is just as awful as Thor (Screaming Goats) I mean love and thunder.
4/10 and I'm being generous.
I think people are debating this movie and 'love and thunder', which is the worst movie of MCU.
Which I think is just not fair, in the sense it neglected 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania', which should be a serious contender too.
I agree that it was a little messy. That said, I still enjoyed watching it. I think a movie can be flawed and still be fun to watch, and this movie falls into that category for me.
shareThe runtime was a big red flag. When they announced who the villain was, I kept scratching my head at that as well.
I don’t need the plot or the antagonist to tie in with the next MCU threat like Thanos or Kang or whatever, but at least make it interesting.
Like have Carol & company fight Korvac or the Brood. Someone cooler than Kree #5.
I disagree about this "movie" having any fun moments, the only time I laughed was seeing it fail at the box office, but everything else is spot on
