So why did they even cast Selena Gomez. I mean I know she's a disney channel star and they thought that she would sell the movie, but she was terrible! She cant act, she cant sing, and she sure as heck cant dance. Did you see how noticeable her dance double was. I mean really, Miley could have even done better!

Selena portrayed Mary very nicely. She delivered her lines naturally and gave a believable performance. Something that Miley was NEVER able to do.

If anything, they were just dumb dance moves. I don't like See You Again. Not one of her best songs.
I know for once I wish they would've cast someone because they fit the role and not because they're a disney star. What about her dance double? I'm sure she would've been just as good.

Selena was not terrible. She at least delivered her lines naturally and gave a believable acting performance. But I do feel she was given very little to work with.

Selena is an amazing actor. She is a natural talent and is fun to watch on screen. I loved her performance. I also like that she acts like a kid and seems to do kid things. She also seems to be able to stay out of trouble unlike some of the other actors her age. She is the real deal!
