Entertained just to see all the changes!

When I saw the advertising for this series, I read all three books first so I could have fun comparing. The last time I did this was for kids books. I felt like an adult reading this series. In my heart I wanted them to do as well as Lord of the Rings, like I would relive the book. Nope! Now I'm counting all the inconsistencies and trying to figure out what will come next since it's not predictable. I'm upset about changing Carter's story though. If it was racially motivated that he couldn't be a stereotypical homeless black man helped by a rich white lady, then why did they change Amy and Babcock? Don't tell me Carter and Amy aren't going to drink iced tea on the back porch anymore! Also, I had to laugh when the scene with Lacey was a scene cut out from PS4 game Detroit Become Human when Kara was running with the girl to Canada and showed up on the ex military lady's home farm (Rose was it?). Also, Lacey is exactly the same character....build and personality! I'm even sad the vampires aren't eating rabbits or glowing. Oh well. Fanning looks fun! Hope his death scene is better than the book.
