My poor Bi-Rain-Jihoon

I suppose his managers can't be blamed for thinking "this must be a blockbuster project to get Rain involved in since Bruce Willus and John Cusack are attached to it". It certainly fooled a lot of us into watching it.

An imdb member posted a review that he worked on the film and listed a bunch of excuses for why it isn't a good film but it could've been worse (I'm paraphrasing) and he gave exalts such as "it only took 15 minutes to write the script" and "it was filmed in 18 days".

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I see. Yep. That explains it. It still doesn't make it worth my time to watch absolute crap. And I can usually find enjoyment in just about anything.

One bright spot was Rain, but his K-pop hairsprayed hairstyle didn't fit this role. He could've pulled it off if he were shown to be scarier/eccentric but once we saw that the main character and the big stars' characters weren't going to be fleshed out,I knew there would be no time given to add an interesting personality to go along with that hair.

His English has really improved (no doubt a lot of hard work there) but a few times the director should have stopped and reshot the scene after getting a voice coach in there. Rain's dialogue with Bruce Willis looked like Bruce didn't understand a word Rain said but was just waiting for Rain to stop so he could say his lines.

I just hope Rain's "people" learn from this to research the current status of the careers of his co-stars if they expect to launch him and get him noticed by U.S. audiences.
