Disclaimer: When I think "comic book film" I think "superhero film," so I'm only considering that flavor of film. Plenty of great films have been based on comics, but aren't of the superhero genre.

My favorite non-conventional superhero films are

Donnie Darko
Mystery Men
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
Deadpool
Unbreakable
Super
Kick-Ass

My favorite superhero films proper are

Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Spider-Man: Homecoming
The Avengers
Avengers: Infinity War
Spider-Man: No Way Home
Thor: Ragnarok
Spider-Man: Far From Home
Guardians of the Galaxy
Superman
The Batman

Ok so a comic book film is a very specific genre. In no particular order.

1) The Crow
2) Conan The Barbarian
3) Superman 1978
4) The Dark Knight
5) Unbreakable
6) The Avengers
7) Spider-Man 2002
8) Donnie Darko
9) Captain America: The Winter Soldier (this whole trilogy was fantastic, 3 really good films.)
10) Thor Ragnarock

List subject to change.

I like your list but Superman 4 needs to be on there. Nuclear Man was so cool

This was actually a lot harder than I thought. Even now thinking about it Guardians of the Galaxy, Man of Steel, Batman, X-Men, Logan etc, etc could deserve a slot... so many movies.

Wow. Gonna be tougher than I thought. Over thirty rated 8/10+ of over two hundred rated.

Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart in Peril (1972)
The Tick (2001) - it was a nine episode one season TV show, but it’s so good I had to include it.
Sin City (2005)
Dredd (2012)
A History of Violence (2005)
Uzumaki [Spiral] (2000)
American Splendor (2003)
Men in Black (1997)
Spider-Man 2 (2004)
Logan (2017)

Bonus to make up for including a TV show:
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)

[edit] Dang, just scrolled up and felt a moment of regret for missing Unbreakable, but turns out the IMDb tags were accurate and it was indeed not based on a comic book.
