how racist is this movie?

as a white man, i need to prepare my fragile masculinity for the unrealistic black representation

reply

It's not racist at all.

Still on a mission to stir crap up huh?

Not at all but you’re 100% retard

sorry i offended your confederate feelings. go hide under a rebel flag and pray to a statue of jefferson davis

Well, I mean it's directed by Jordan Peele, so go figure. I won't watch any of his films. He loves pitting blacks against whites and even said he would not put a white in a leading role. In my book, that's racist. Imagine if I had said that about blacks.

Is a shame Ice T. hasn't directed any films as judging by some of his lyrics from his 'Body Count' band, it would be interesting to see what themes he'd put in his own film. I mean if you listen to some of his tracks:

"But honestly it ain't just black
It's yellow, it's brown, it's red
It's anyone who ain't got cash
Poor whites that they call trash"

"We didn't fall prey to your bullshit lies
Propaganda of twisted minds
We figured out how it's all set up
The object, keep us all split up
Keep us fighting amongst ourselves
While you accumulate all the wealth"

Yes I am aware he can be hypocritical and has indeed made BLM styled tracks (second verse of No Lives Matter is a complete flip flop as he takes the left side side YET first verse can be scene as taken from the right wing side - call him crazy and confusing yet he at least has written some interesting lyrics that out way a better mindset than Peele's films for Black Americans).

Didn't find it racist.

Not at all. It did not do the standard ideology tropes that are currently so common.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. My only complaint would be that the first half starts to drag a bit.

9/10
