Would help if we understood what was going on

I didn't know what the UFO/animal's weakness was supposed to be or how they figured out that not looking at it would help. Maybe the characters explained it but there was a lot of mumbling of lines going on and I couldn't even tell what was said. I literally couldn't make out any of the dialogue from Michael Wincott's character. The behaviour of character was also bemusing.

I'd say that I'd watch it again with the subtitles but that would mean watching it again when I found it to be frustratingly ponderous at times.

Peele turning into another M Night, who comes up with interesting ideas, just with the problem being he isn't good at executing them through his writing.
