Let's talk about the last scene

Am I the only one who think that it's Jeanette who tell the cops where were Katie? Like, when she heard her, she had already the style she had on her b-day, so why would she doesn't tell the cops? And the fact that she was worried when she heard the gun shoot was because she was scared Martin killed her because she tell the cops? And that would be why she was asking where her body was found? I mean, for me that's the most logical hypothesis. What's yours?

No. There was nothing to imply Jeanette told the police. The song playing during the last scene was Creep, referring to Jeanette. Jeanette thought Martin killed Kate because she knew Kate was locked in the basement. Kate wasn’t sure if anyone was upstairs, and she forgot all about it. Which doesn’t really make sense, because Kate knew Jeanette had a key to the house. Either way the ending made it clear Jeanette found out about Kate, and did nothing about it.

Mine is that I do not understand a word of what you are trying, very badly, to say; but it does not seem that a hypothesis of any kind has anything to do with it.

Use smaller words and shorter sentences.

Edit: This post is for the OP. Randy, your post is perfectly lucid and free of any chemical influence.
