while he is floating in the round door, looks like a big spider is on the ceiling?

digging into this film, I found it is based on a book and feels similar to MARTIAN: lone guy doing stuff, with some love drama [eh gad! if it is as bad as AD ASTRA was in the drama department]
Maybe he finds a big loving spider voices by Paul Dano. I don't know.

looks like another weak indie drama to me, where SCI-FI doesn't need to be in the plot at all. but Im totally guessing and hope im wrong

It's nothing like "The Martian" or "Ad Astra" (both of which were very good movies).

It's an absorbing psychological drama about relationships. For grownups.
