The word Meticulous

I've read articles describing this and The Batman as being meticulously made. I gotta say more movies should be made that way if the end result is that fucking awesome!

def man. this was a case of true "art" that you rarely see these days. I put Tarantino in the same category even if his style is vastly different. He is still producing quality character driven beautifully filmed movies that not everyone would appreciate

I know a lot of people criticize this film and A24 films as just dark and just like a saturated gray film (I know the northman wasn't a24) but im including the green knight and the witch in with this.

but I love it and it was especially suiting for the dark, cold nordic climate and overall tone of the film.

I also was super impress how nothing in the film was actual magic. instead it was shown very realistic but how the characters would have perceived "magic" in their time. such as a drug induced state, or when he "fought" that giant skeleton for the "magic sword". the sword wasn't magic he just needed his "heroes weapon" and her "magic" was actually magic mushroom induced drugging of the guards.

but as you said this was a meticulously put together film. like every scene, costume, was a brush of a paintbrush.

vs say Michael bay who is like "how can I have the most explosions"

This movie is lousy. It's NOT possible to make a bad Batman movie. Batman is too big to fail. Even that weirdo Tim Burton made a decent Batman movie. I'll be happy when this Eggers character is out of work. I saw ten minutes of that Lighthouse film before turning it off.

Eggers had an anti-Norse agenda. Eggers wanted to take back Norse culture from right-wing groups BUT he doesn't realize that many people of different backgrounds appreciate Norse culture. Instead of displaying positive aspects of Norse culture, this film focused on the negative details like slavery, animal sacrifice and barbarism.
