Not as shite as you think

I remember seeing the trailer for this a couple years back with Non Actress Gaga front and center giving it the 'Our Name,Sweetie' and putting it straight in the Cool woman running the world annoying pile

I think a lot of people myself included saw that and imagined exactly what film they were trying to throw down our neck and we said no thank you and the box office take preformed accordingly.

However i caught this 2 years on and it's not that bad, sure there is a lot of embarrassing shit in this film but it's not a total write off. I would say it's worth it alone for the comedy value of the accents- (

As a whole it's actually watchable, there is a bit of a Godfather vibe the story isn't bad at all, soundtrack is amazing with gorgeous Gucci wardrobe, Cinematography that Ridley Scott touch (As big of a hack as he may be by this point)

The big fall down is the Italian accents from the actors they really fuck themselves in this department because if they want to make a serious art piece they would cast Italians and have it subtitled but no they shoot for American public so we get Jared Letto in full old cosmetics behaving like he is going for an Oscar when everyone else is looking around for someone to take him away.

Talk about Connected in the age where we are all savvy to people getting Leg ups due to being the after cum of some executive we still have to tolerate him as an 'Actor' and just let him play, jesus fucking Christ.
This guy is the epitome of taking absolute liberties with everything, the director, his fellow actors and the poor audience who paid or sat through this charade, it seriously looks like he's trolling at this point.

From My limited perspective there are a couple of types of actors on the go, there isn't much range but it goes as follows,

A list is super serious i'm not fucking around acting, but still flawed your still a stupid actor end of day but we buy it
Second tier is good looking doesn't try so hard to be serious I'm good looking and cool and i won't try to be anything else. (I respect these ones the most because you can't teach and you can't sell people want to be them.
Then you get talented actors who are character actors who are never stars but respected and prop up films time and again but without the recognition but you notice them.

Jarred Letto should be an afterthought a C Lister but is running around with A lister peak De Niro Licence and thinking of himself as an artist. I feel like i am taking crazy pills WTF has this come to. Someone needs to punch this prick in the face,hard.

OR for those who have seen then film-SPOILERS--It's a mad case of art imitating life shit because in the movie his character thinks he's a genius only to reminded he's a moron, -Is Leto that good?- No no he is not he is fucking annoying for years now he keeps popping up he's very good looking i grant him however he has that Dirk Diggler syndrome of believing he's talanted and elevated or somethething and subjecting us and eveyone around him to his artistic drive.

Watch the film for him alone if you are in good spirits you will find a great deal of amusement and if you bum him you have Gaga in reserve.

So too sum up the acting is absolutely atrocious and a lesson in how not to act- In fact if i was a jobbing actor being rejected constantly and i saw this i would be very evil.

But that aside the Clothes are amazing, cinematography soundtrack and it's not actually woke because Gaga is a crazy Phycho and that line is very misleading.
She doesn't take over anything-But neither does he, he's a cool simp dressed ever so well, she's driven and has ideas but ultimately not taken seriously by the Mafia it's a bit of a boring film with a lot of style that has been written off

When it comes to woke stuff heres my take, almost every film is vetted and savagged before it even comes out and mostly for the right reason. But remember this, woke has always been here Silence of the Lambs is one of the best films ever made 30 plus year ago and that was riddled in feminist propaganda.

So ease up, not every single film is out to hypnotize you,

This is no work of Art, and Ridley Scott is an absolute yes man hack.

But this aint a bad film, very cool, very good looking, very good sounding easy peasy bit of work. Just don't ask any questions
