Ridiculous remake

I legit just watched the original like an hour or two ago. It's ultra violent & honestly holds up way better than expected.

I watched the trailer for this new one this afternoon & I genuinely had no idea it was a remake of the Woo movie until this post. Honestly looks like a made for tv movie. Which it technically is, I guess.

I don't think they're ever gonna top that ending. Fucking hell, man! Also, good luck ''replacing'' Chow Yun-Fat. Guy just oozes charm.

I would rather have seen what Walter Hill would have done had he succeeded in remaking the film circa early '90s. Originally, Richard Gere was to play the killer whereas Denzel Washington was to play the detective.

This look slike pure shit, pure nonsense! Trailer is terrible.

Well, we can't let a man being the hero, God forbid even to save a woman.

Only a woman, I mean self identified female, is allowed to do that.

It is clearly another action movie for women, who are not going to watch.

It is Peacock Original, so we know it is a streaming movie, not going to be in theatres.

$30m budget is pretty low, even for a streaming movie.
