There are only 7 pages for this message board, if you go all the way to the first post, the date is 2016, which is weird considering the show began in 2008.
shareI'm not sure why it happens, but lots of boards for movies get cleaned out and lots of old posts get deleted. I've ran into a lot of movies with posts only going back 6 months or so.
Maybe IMDB is trying to clear up space? Maybe they are trying to keep boards more active by restarting topics? I'm not sure.
Because a discussion board chat isn't some valuable info to store for nearly a decade

something said in a board like Homeland might be important years later in an actual terrorism case...something on an SOA board might come up in a RICO case years later..you never know who the poster actually is irl...
Something on Bates Motel might be important on "Trivago" or "Travel Advisor"..
If you are thinking of visiting Albuquerque or NM, you definitely might need to swat up old posts on BrBa or 'Better Call Saul" board.
it is fkd up when you cannot find an old post you know you read one day years back..
Weird because I've seen other movies and tv shows that still have older posts
shareI believe they only keep so many threads at a time. If a board is dead, they may keep posts for years.

shareIMDb doesn't keep messages forever, they purge the message boards now and again, typically around the 6 month mark, for posts that have little or no activity.
The activity on this board used to be huge, especially around Seasons 3 and 4 when the popularity of the show skyrocketed. As the show got more repetitive though, and less about the SONS and more about Gemma, traffic tapered off some.
