Every Scream film has been the exact same movie. They just added a few new actors and characters. Same with this one.

People hail the series as reinvigorating horror and the slasher genre. BS! They’re just more generic slashers — the lazy, unimaginative bottom feeding sub-genre to horror — pretending to be clever or meta.

The only difference between these and previous slashers of the late 70s and 80s is Scream didn’t have the guts to include naked women running around.

I guess producers felt doing that would risk “offending” or “objectifying” women.

Women: Which would you rather have happen to you in real life? Guys seeing you naked or being hacked to pieces with a knife? Nude, right? Then why is having naked woman onscreen objectifying, but terrifying and killing them, isn’t?

I mean…if you are naked in a movie…you really are naked…what’s occurring in real life and on the film is the same…. That’s not true for fake violence.
