Was that supposed to be a twist when Nev reveals it on the phone? I knew as soon as the front door opened to the house and the camera went in. Then the kitchen in blue. Maybe it wasn’t supposed to be a twist but a twist for the main characters to be told.
shareI think you nailed it. Was obvious from the get-go to me as well. Maybe someone who only watched the original once, casually, years ago, might not pick up on it? I think it was more supposed to be a twist for Sam to be told. But I don't get that either. It's a small town, I don't buy that she grew up not knowing which house it was. In a way though they almost oversell it. Sidney's all "It's where your dad and Stu killed everyone!" Okay let's be real, it was only Tatum and Kenny, and technically Kenny was in the road and so, off-property.
shareYeah they should have filmed the scenes in the house at odd angles and not reused any angles from the original and stayed out of the living room and kitchen. Might have paid off better
