I really didn't understand if this was supernatural or mental health. Lots of questions unanswered.

Yeah I'm not sure either but I think it was mental health. The supernatural/alien narrative doesn't really make sense.

it's supposed to be up for consideration, but in the end, I am pretty sure it's mental health. It's a pretty convincing demonstration of what it must be like to be mentally ill.
