🎥 Thursday opening night is only show to include 8 minutes of bonus content

The AMC theater near me had an "AMC Investors" showing last night (Tuesday) which is 1 hour 35 minutes. The shows on Friday and later are all for that same running time.

But the AMC theater's Thursday opening night is advertised as having "plus bonus content," an additional 8 minutes for a running time of 1 hour 44 minutes. So if you are a fan of this series, Thursday February 3, 2022 is the day you want to go.

I read within the last week that film distributors sometimes negotiate to get 100% of the box office on opening night, or a much higher percentage in the first week. That is presumably because theaters have about an 85% markup on food and beverages. Theaters make a fortune on that with a packed theater.

Johnny Knoxville says the Jackass Forever home video release, Jackass 4.5, will be jam-packed with deleted scenes.

Looks like all showings tonight will have the bonus content. Any idea of what it is?

Yes, I see that Regal Theatres also has the bonus content too. The regular film is not very long, which was probably intended to give theaters a fast turnaround, so they could schedule more shows. I have no idea what they added. I'm surprised that they did not let their invited Investor Group see it. (Anyone could actually buy a ticket.) I suspect that they are getting all or most of the box office receipts for that bonus content.

Johnny Knoxville did two dangerous stunts (that I saw, as I arrived late.). One sent him to the hospital. The other one made me wonder if it was real, or if they did something to simulate what we saw, as a tremendous prank. If it was real, he's absolutely nuts, as he could have died!

I saw it tonight and the bonus content was just 8 minutes of the director and cast sitting around talking about the movie and recapping their favorite scenes. Not really anything worth sticking around for.
