They essentially took the plot of this movie with the kids getting infected with something and killing their parents and just flipped it and had the parents all getting infected with something that made them want to kill their kids. Never realized this until i saw this tonight.

I mean i never said an actor was at fault, just pointing out how the movie ripped this idea off. "Mom And Dad" is decent, its played with a bit more of a comedic tone than this movie though, essentially Nicholas Cage being Nicholas Cage while trying to kill his kids.

I like the premise of 'The Children', is it a good watch?
Yeah its a good watch, the kids are great in it, and it doesn't hold back you see kids getting killed, kids killing parents, its a wild movie and perfect to watch for Christmas if you're into Christmas horror.
