"Bush kept the country safe" chant the neocons like Rudy Giuliani

I am amazed that almost nobody retorts right back "Counting 9/11?"

Like saying the captain of the Titanic kept the boat and crew and passengers safe (except on that day of course).

Say what you want about who's fault was it and who benefitted. The facts are:
- It happened on his administration's watch. Not Clinton's, not Obama's, but his.
- He chose not to invade/attack/engage the country of origin (and funding) of the 9/11 guys (Saudi Arabia)
- He chose instead to attack other countries (that he had unsettled personal scores with) under BS rationalizations that if taken seriously could be used to justify attacking Saudi Arabia just as well, and China too (brutal dictatorships with ongoing WMD programs and source of much regional instability).
- His toppling of Hussein caused the rise of Iran in the region, and eventually also of ISIS (it didn't come into being overnight, it festered in the power vacuum and regional bloodshed caused by: the toppling of Hussein, the horrific mismanagement of the power transition, and the backing of sectarian Iraqi governments that instead of keeping the country together resorted to settling scores against the Sunnis and buddying up with Iran, WTF did you expect the Sunni response would be?)

Tell me I'm wrong, and back it up.

LOL. You wrote this B-llsh-t and not one response in over 3 months. I bet your liberal feelings got hurt so you went to the Huffington Post to tell the world that you're "offended" that nobody listed to you. HAHAHAHAHAH

I loved it when Jeb said:"My brother kept this country safe!" And Trump went: "No he didn't. He let 9-11 happen."
Classic. GET 'EM DONNIE!!
