Ava character is so unappealing

I agree. It's hard to love a show that has not one main character in it with any redeeming qualities, right?

I'm finding her very difficult to like too. She's more snarky than actually funny--sort of like the character Juno in the 2007 film (minus the clever quips). I am almost finished with the season but am growing increasingly weary of it. I am sticking through to the end because of the powerhouse performance from Jean Smart, who creates a hard-edged, bitter character we come to understand and even admire. She deserved her Emmy. There is not one single supporting chatacter that I remotely care about.

Agreed. She is your typical entitled millennial with the personality of a half-dead rattlesnake.

She's a spoiled, self-righteous, smug, humorless, immature, woke hipster. What's not to like?
