That wasn't too bad!

The only reason I caught this was I was a little bored and Martin Campbell was the director. Thought I'd give it a couple minutes before turning it off. It kept my interest the whole way through. I had no idea Ray Stevenson was in it until he showed up and I had to look twice to recognize him.

It isn't like those other Liam/Taken knock-off movies I see in Redbox all the time. This was half-Liam as a memory-fading hitman who grew a conscious and half Guy Pierce looking absolutely terrible as an FBI agent investigating a child prostitution ring. It bounces around a bit but there are some interesting scenes, a couple twists, and a solid ending. Worth a pirate download or a $1.50 rental.

I really liked it. I had no idea it was a Martin Campbell movie till the end credits rolled. And I was like, oh, that's why it was good. I thought this was just the latest low budget Liam Neeson stinker. But it was pretty engaging right from the get go. Everybody put in good performances, especially Guy Pearce. It tackled modern society problems without being preachy and annoying about it. Really good atmosphere throughout. Actually felt something more like the Miami Vice movie should have been. It actually had kind of a throwback quality in the way it presented mature professionals doing their jobs. This will probably be one of Liam's last actioners and it's a solid one to go out on.

I enjoyed it as well.
Definitely worth a watch.

That's why I avoided the movie for a while but the movie's solid and entertaining. All the liam jokes on this board are misguided. It's not a generic movie at all.

Definitely a sleeper that even shed light on child trafficking to an extent.
