Great movie - Yet I cried

I shed a tear when the movie was announced and I saw the cast. a BIPOC BAME woman of color and gender taking the lead role was both unforeseen and unprecedented.

I sobbed tears of joy when she single handedly stood up to the patriarchy and overcame the Predator - (a symbol of toxic masculinity?)

I cried like a baby at the end when I realized this brave woman had only won the battle and not the war. For many years after this, all she would know would be pain and suffering as a BIPOC BAME woman of color and gender.

And I cried tears of rage when the usual far right racist trolls infested this board with their bad reviews within just a day of release. Note to you people - There are many skin colors and genders. Some of them will be in movies and it won't always be the ones you're accustomed to. This isn't 2010 anymore. Build a bridge and get over it.

Let us Pray that Prey sets a new benchmark for underrepresented and marginalized folk everywhere. Bring it home!

Are you aware movies are made for "profit"?

Now... which race has starred in the most profitable movies?

If you are an investor, Business first over DEI.
